Social media rarely brings in a homeowner with water on the floor. Here’s what it’s good for, and how to spend an hour a week on it.
“Social media marketing for restoration companies” gets about 90 searches a month in the US (Semrush, October 2026). Plenty of owners are told to post every day. Here’s an honest view.
A homeowner with water coming through the ceiling doesn’t scroll Facebook. They search Google and call one of the first companies they see. So social media is rarely the channel that brings in tonight’s emergency job.
If social is bringing in calls, they’ll show up on a tracking number you put in your profile bio. If after three months there’s nothing, keep the hour a week for proof and partners, and stop expecting it to fill the schedule.
Job photo posts on your Google Business Profile are part of every plan.
